Description

BPD-S/SА — bird protection perching deterrent (landing repellent) device, designed for:

• landing deterrent of birds of any size at cross-arm of anchor-angle, sub transmission and transmission power lines at place of connecting to insulator.
• protecting over bird nesting inside steel frameworks of any kind lattice towers
• prevention of short circuit through bird feces (guano/waste products) over hanging wires at anchor-angle towers.
• reducing of negative influence of bird feces (guano/waste products) at towers’ steel frame. Placement category – outdoor (medium-cold climate area), mass – 0,8 KG max (including fasteners).

Features

Bird protection perching deterrent (landing repellent) device BPD-S/SА is made of rods, which are absolutely safe for birds. Additional bird landing deterrent effect is gaining by random vibrations, caused by wind. The fasteners are corrosion protected. The working parts of the bird protection device are made of a composite dielectric material.

BPD-S/SA is completed with a general-purpose galvanized clamp, which allows the device installation both on the vertical and on the horizontal side of the cross-arm L-beam.
BPD-SА has enlarged size of protecting area – it is supplied with longer rods.
