BIRD PROTECTION DEVICE – CONE SHAPED PERCHING DETERRENT (LANDING REPELLENT)

Description

BPD-lid — bird protection perching deterrent (landing repellent) device «CONE» type, which is designed to prevent birds of any size from landing at cross-arm of tower at insulator connection point, as well as at gantry towers. BPD-lid is to be used at places that should be protected from bird feces (guano/waste products).
Placement category – outdoor (medium-cold climate area), mass – 2,75 KG max (including fasteners).

Features

Cone-shaped surface avoid bird landing at unwanted place, like under insulator strings. Special cut allows to place device lower, to avoid birds perching under BPD-lid. The slope of the cone-like surface is designed in a special way to make snow slide off easily.
BPD-lid is completed with a general-purpose galvanized clamp, which allows the device installation both on the vertical and on the horizontal side of the cross-arm L-beam.
